Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts program prepares students for employment in the food service industry at mid-management level.

Graduates are able to meet the food service industry’s needs for trained professionals who are knowledgeable in areas such as:

  • Basic and classical food preparation
  • Baking
  • Menu and facility planning
  • Nutrition
  • Sanitation
  • Accounting
  • Management techniques

Students gain valuable hands-on and practical experience in the kitchen-lab and classroom setting.
The Culinary Arts program is fully accredited by the American Culinary Federation. Zane State's Culinary Arts program is one of only five such programs accredited in the state of Ohio.

Graduates of the Culinary Arts Technology program find employment in a variety of places in the food service industry:
