Admissions Requirements - Human Service Assistant
Students entering the Human Service Assistant program must have
obtained a high school diploma with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a GED, be
accepted into the college, and complete the College's Admissions
Procedures.
- Completion of any developmental courses is expected before beginning the technical courses.
- Transfer credits from other colleges and universities will be determined by the Dean of Health, Public Service and Service Related Programs after review of an official transcript.
In compliance with the Ohio Senate Bill 38, students must submit fingerprints for a criminal background check. Ohio law does prohibit individuals found guilty of certain crimes from working with dependent or vulnerable populations.
