| Options Beyond the PTE Program
Students in the PTE program will have multiple options after graduation:
- Enroll in additional associate degree programs at Zane State College, upon completion of PTE
- Transfer to baccalaureate degree programs
- Enter the job market in the electro-mechanical engineering technology field
Enroll at Zane State
Zane State offers 25 associate degree programs. Students who have completed the PTE program could take additional courses toward another degree and add to their credentials for future employment. Employers want highly skilled employees: PTE provides the foundation!
Transfer
Students with associate degrees will have many opportunities for transferring to a baccalaureate degree-granting institution. The State of Ohio colleges and universities are continually working on transferability of coursework. Check out this site for more information:

PTE students are taking electro-mechanical engineering technology courses along with their academic courses. If a student transfers to a college or university that offers a bachelor of science in engineering technology (BSET), then the student will transfer in with two-years of a bachelor’s degree already completed! Check out this site for a list of colleges/universities that offer the BSET:
