Curriculum for Microsoft Office Software Certificate
(Online)
The Microsoft Office Software Certificate Program was developed
to provide comprehensive training to students seeking specialized skills
and demanding quality instruction from industry professionals and dedicated
faculty. This program, offered online, provides the flexibility and convenience
required by today's busy individuals.
Course Content
The Zane State College Microsoft Office Software Certificate
program consists of 14 online courses that account for 37 credit hours.
Courses will cover Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Access,
and PowerPoint beginning with the basic courses and progressing to more
advanced courses. Students will learn to simplify and automate many of
the everyday tasks by using Microsoft Office to its fullest capacity.

Convenience
While some contact with the professor is expected and tests
will be administered on campus, the majority of the course work can
be completed online. Students will have the flexiblity to complete
coursework at the time and pace they choose within the quarter system.
Students may begin the program any quarter. |

After completing the program, students will receive a certificate
from Zane State College and be eligible for the Microsoft Office Specialist
certification exams. |
