Basic Occupational Skill Program - (Business) Microcomputer Applications
The person completing this certificate will be able to describe the interaction between hardware and software components; demonstrate the fundamentals of working with electronic files and folders' create, edit, and format all types of Microsoft Word documents; create modify, and run slide show presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint; develop effective Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and charts using advanced functions and formulas; create database tables, forms, and reports using Microsoft Access' integrate all Microsoft office software programs through the use of business simulations; understand and demonstrate basic accounting concepts; and design brochures, flyers, and newsletters using a desktop publishing program.
