Applying for Financial Aid
Applying for financial aid at Zane State College is a quick and easy process. Follow these four simple steps:

Step 1:

Apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) at http://www.pin.ed.gov/. This number will allow you to electronically sign your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Complete the FAFSA online at the Federal Financial Aid website at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Please file by April 1 of every year to ensure the most financial assistance is received. |

| Step 3: |
Zane State College will receive your results and begin to develop your financial aid package for the academic year. You may be asked to provide documentation of the income that you listed on the FAFSA to the Office of Student Financial Aid for verification purposes. |

| Step 4: |
Zane State will send you an award notice informing you of the sources of aid you qualify to receive for the academic year. You will be instructed if any additional steps are needed. |
