What is Z-Online?
Z-Online will give you the ability to access your academic records from
anywhere you have access to the web.
- Register
for classes
- Add/Drop
classes
- View your
schedule

your date for priority registration

How do I get my
username and password?
If you are currently enrolled in
classes at Zane State you should have a login. To log in, use your student id number for your user name,
for your password use your birth month and last two digits of your birth year.
There should be no leading zero on your username or your password.
(Example, username: 32111 with a birthday of June
5, 1982 will give you a password of 682). |

Who do I contact
if my username and password does not work?
Please note that your Zane State email account, Blackboard account
and Z-Online account are not related in any way. Each system
requires it's own username and password combination. If you
change your password in one, it will not affect the others.

What is web
registration?
Web registration will give you the ability to register yourself from
anywhere you have access to the web. You may also add/drop
classes up to the official cutoff date which is posted on the
Student Information screen within Z-Online. After that date
you must see the Student Success Center to add/drop classes.
Advantages of
registering online
- you can
register from anywhere you have access to the internet.
- you can
register before the doors open beginning one minute after
midnight the day of your scheduled priority.

How do I register
with web registration?
Documentation for registering online can be found on
www.zanestate.edu, click on
Z-Online and, click on the link for "Step by step Instructions can
be found Here." |

Do I have to
register online?
NO. Students can register through the
Student Success Center located in College Hall. If a student wants to register online but
would prefer to have assistance, assistance is available at the
Academic Computer Lab located in the lower level of College Hall,
Room 155.
Registration is also available at the WPTC. |

How do I get my
priority code or priority registration date?
First, login to Z-Online. From the Student Information screen
set your "Current Option Settings" to the Quarter in which you wish to register under session and
set the year to the current year by clicking on the "Set Options" button.
Then, click on the Biographical menu option on the left. In
the lower right side you will find the field, "Your
Scheduled Date for Priority Registration".
If this field is blank double check your Current Option Settings. Otherwise, please e-mail our Help Desk at HELPDESK@zanestate.edu or visit the Help Desk on Campus which is located in College Hall in the Academic Computer Lab Room C155 or by phone at 740-588-1327. |

As a current student...things I need to know for registration?
- If you are
currently taking any developmental courses or must take one
during future quarters, you MUST meet with an advisor in
the Student Success Center to develop your
schedule.
- If you are
enrolled in all college level courses (course numbers of 100 or
above) you may register online at times identified by your
priority code.
- Any
student needing a course override MUST obtain the
override during the student/advisor sessions prior to
registering online.
- Any
questions concerning online registration should be directed to
the Records Office. Any technical issues with Z-Online
should be emailed to
webmaster@zanestate.edu.

How do I logout of
Z-Online?
Once you have entered Z-Online, the
location is open to anyone using the machine until you close the
browser. If you are accessing this site from a public area, be sure
to close the browser before leaving the machine.
