This program will explore the variety of feeders and seeds available to bird feeding enthusiasts. Discover which species prefer what types of seed. Learn techniques for setting up your own feeding station. Study birds commonly found in our area in winter. Enjoy a bird walk and learn methods of field identification.
Scott Albaugh has been birding in Ohio for 20 years. He is the Regional Coordinator for the Ohio Breeding Birds Atlas 2, Vice President of the Greater Mohican Audubon Society and has led numerous field trips for the Ohio Ornithological Society. Scott found the Common Raven in Jefferson County, Ohio in 2006 which later lead to the discovery of the first nesting ravens in Ohio in over 100 years. He has a Master's degree from Marshall University in Herpetology, and is a Wildlife field Biology Instructor at Zane State College.
