What is a credit voucher?
A credit voucher is a payment plan for tuition only**. A credit voucher allows a student, if eligible; to make payments on their tuition up to the eighth week of the quarter you are attending.
How does a credit voucher work?
A required deposit of $120.00 is due with the application ($20 is a non-refundable processing fee). The $100 will go towards your tuition balance. The balance of the tuition left, after the $100 is applied, will be split up into two equal payments; one due the fourth week of the quarter and the second one will be the eighth week of the quarter. Reminder notices are mailed one week prior to payment deadlines. If financial aid comes in after obtaining a credit voucher, the aid will be applied to the credit voucher, first, before any balance is refunded to you. (See Refunds section)
There are six convenient ways for you to make your payments. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Discover, MasterCard, and Visa)
- Pay by check or credit card through your Z-online account. This can be done by scrolling to the bottom of the Tuition Statement screen.
- Mail in a check to the attention of the Business Office. Please write your ID# and driver's license number on the check to ensure proper posting to your account.
- Credit card over the phone by calling the Business Office at 740-588-1211.
- Pay in person at the Business Office window anytime during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- After hours, a drop box is available to the left of the Business Office door.
- Willett-Pratt Training Center in Guernsey County, if you are closer to that location.
What happens if the balance is not paid?
If the balance is not paid in full after the eighth week of the quarter, a $15 late charge will be applied to the balance, grade transcripts will be held and a restriction from registering for future quarters will be placed on the student's account until the balance owed is paid in full. Collection proceedings will begin if the balance is not paid in full.
Who is eligible for a credit voucher?
**Requirements for a credit voucher are:
- Age 18 or older
- Must have electronically filed the FASFA (Federal Application for Student Financial Aid)
- Have a minimum of 2.0 accumulated GPA or better
- Be registered for six (6) credit hours or more
Upon meeting requirements, you will:
- Fill out the credit voucher application
- (Parents cannot fill out the application for the student.) The student must be present.
- Pay deposit of $120.00 ($20 of this amount is a non-refundable processing fee)
By filling out the credit voucher, it secures the student in their classes for the quarter.
When registering for classes, the student assumes a legal obligation to pay tuition and fees. It is the student's responsibility to follow the college's formal process of withdrawing from classes. Failure to properly withdraw or withdrawing after the first week of classes will require that the student pay tuition & fees regardless of attendance.
