I. Salary Grade - Non-faculty Notes:
Boldface denotes job classification changes.
Salary grade ranges 11 through 17 are considered "Administrative" staff.
Salary grade ranges 7 through 10 are considered "Professional" staff.
Salary grade ranges 1 through 6 are considered "Support" staff.
Salary ranges do not determine exempt or non-exempt status.  Exempt/non-exempt status is determined for
each position under the guidelines of the Fair Labor Standards Act (2004).
In accordance with Section 800.02 (A)(2)&(3) of the Zane State College Employee Handbook, employees
successfully completing degrees, licensures, registrations, or certifications maybe awarded an increase of
$60 per month to their annual salary as approved by the employee's immediate supervisor, appropriate
administrator, and Human Resources.
Exception to the Zane State College Salary Schedule shall not exceed five percentage of the total number
of full-time employees of the College.
