Mandatory Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Meetings Scheduled for May

Zane State College’s Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) is hosting information sessions for individuals who are interested in enrolling into the next Academy training session which begins Monday, May 13, 2013. This academy will be held at the Cambridge Campus of Zane State College and will be held during the day and primarily Monday through Friday.  It will be an expedited academy 3+ months in length.

In preparation for enrollment, mandatory information sessions will take place at the Willett-Pratt Training Center on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m., Room 513
     
  • Wednesday, March 27 at 3:00 p.m., Room 513
     
  • Thursday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m., Room 520

Prospective academy students MUST attend one of the three information sessions. Application/enrollment materials will be distributed during the information meetings. Each session will include question and answer time. Attendees are encouraged to make notes of any questions and bring them to the session. Contact School Commander Vicky L.
