QuickStart to College
If you are an adult considering attending college to increase your earning potential, explore your options in Zane State College’s QuickStart to College program.
The QuickStart to College program is an eight-week course for adult students who have earned a high school diploma or a GED but have little to no college credit. The course is offered free to students through funds provided by a grant from the Lumina Foundation and the Ohio Learning Network. Upon successful completion of the course and enrollment at Zane State College, the student will receive four college credits.
Course topics include career exploration, navigating the financial aid process, completing the College’s application, and exploring learning styles. Students will be given opportunities to refresh knowledge in the math and English areas prior to taking the College’s placement test.
