Pathways to Engineering Admissions Procedure
Step 1: Obtain application materials from your guidance counselor, Mid-East Career and Technology Centers, or Zane State College.
Step 2: Complete both Zane State College and Mid-East Career and Technology Centers applications.
Step 3: Give two recommendation forms to your teachers. One must be a math and/or science teacher.
Step 4: Write an essay about why you are interested in this program and in the engineering field (400 to 500 words, typed, and double-spaced).
Step 5: To ensure a complete application, submit all materials together to your guidance counselor by the date determined by your home school. Teachers must submit the recommendation forms directly to guidance counselors. Ask your counselor to include your transcript.
Step 6: Make an appointment and complete the Accuplacer assessment at Zane State College (see phone numbers below).
