Electives
Students may take an elective course where elective hours are indicated
in order to meet the graduation requirements for quarter hours in a given
area. Registration procedures for these courses are the same as those
for required courses. See sample below.

General Electives
Each of the associate degree programs has one or more quarters when “general
elective” is shown as one of the suggested courses in which to enroll.
When this notation is seen, any of the courses listed under General
Electives may be taken.
Technical Electives
Each of the associate degree programs has one or more quarters when “technical
elective” is shown as one of the suggested courses in which to enroll.
When this notation is seen, any of the courses listed on the programs
curriculum as a Technical Electives may be taken.
