Personal responsibility and Campus Community Security Education
Crime prevention can and should be the responsibility of the individual student or employee. Every effort is made to keep the campus safe and secure, however incidents are going to occur. All students and employees are encouraged to exercise due care and regard for their own personal safety and to take the necessary steps to secure personal property while on campus. It only takes a matter of seconds for a thief to steal property that is not properly secured. Students and employees should always be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious persons or incidents to the campus security office.
