Mission: The mission of the ZSC/OUZ Campus Security Office is to provide a safe and secure campus in a manner that demonstrates openness, trust, honesty and integrity, and respects differences in ideas and cultures. We continually evaluate existing programs and look for new ways to maintain and improve campus security. We strive to provide the most secure surroundings possible, and educate all students, employees and visitors about their responsibility for campus safety and security.

Building/grounds/parking lot patrol
Unlocking of vehicles
Jumpstarting vehicles
Event security
Escorts to vehicle, buildings, or classes
Lost and found
First Aid/CPR*
Investigation of emergcies/incidents on campus
Crimes on campus are investigated by the Zanesville Police Department, call 911.

The Security office will escort you to your vehicle, to another building, or anywhere on the campus. Officers can unlock your vehicle, or jumpstart your car. To request any of these services call 1111 on an intercampus phone, or 454-2501, ext. 1111.

• Security Officers are certified in First Aid and CPR.
• Many items are turned into the lost and found located in the Campus Security Office and may be redeemed at that location.
