Welding Programs

The welding program at the Willett-Pratt Training Center can be tailored for either the beginner or someone with welding experience that wants to learn more. Courses are available in stick welding, pipe welding, MIG, TIG, oxy-fuel cutting, plasma arc cutting and blue print reading. The student can select all or parts of the welding program to fit their individual goals. The welding modules may also be included as part of an Associate of Technical Studies degree. State certification is available on-site.

All welding modules are taught as self-paced units. This type of instruction is a unique way for working adults to achieve their goals. The open-entry modular system makes it possible to register for a class at any time during the academic quarter. Students choose a schedule that fits their individual needs. Morning and evening laboratory sections are available.
