To provide educational experiences focused on outdoor recreation and the conservation of our natural resources
About the NRC
Since 1985, the 80 acres at the NRC have served Zane State College students as a land lab complete with a pond, hiking trails, habitat management areas, an indoor classroom, a workshop and a Forest Service uplink weather station (1 of 8 in Ohio). Adjacent to Dillon State Park in Muskingum County, the site also features a shelter house built by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

- Turn right from Campus drive onto State Route 146/Newark Road
- Travel on State Route 146 for approx. 4.6 miles
- The Natural Resource Center will be on the right
From Dillon State Park
- Turn left from the Dillon State Park Entrance
- Continue until you reach a stoplight at State Route 146
- Turn right at light
- Continue State Route 146 for approx. 2 miles
- The Natural Resource Center will be on the left
