States require educational institutions to obtain approval for regulated activities that occur in their state. Examples of such activities may include online learning, clinical/field experience/internship, marketing, advertising, faculty teaching from another state, and more.
As a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), which regulates interstate online education, Zane State College is permitted to offer educational activities outside the state of Ohio in other SARA member states.
Regulations vary by state, from having no regulation to having very strict requirements. The services Zane State College is permitted to offer students located in another state may vary based upon location.
If you are located outside the state of Ohio, or plan to participate in any educational activity outside of Ohio, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm whether Zane State College may offer the activity in your state.
