Zane State College proudly partnered with the United Way of Muskingum, Perry, & Morgan Counties to help make a difference in the lives of our students… for those times when it matters most. Funding is available for utilities, housing/rent, food/meals, medical/dental expenses, personal auto expense, personal transportation/bus pass, child care, gas, and other qualifying needs.
States require educational institutions to obtain approval for regulated activities that occur in their state. Examples of such activities may include online learning, clinical/field experience/internship, marketing, advertising, faculty teaching from another state, and more.
As a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), which regulates interstate online education, Zane State College is permitted to offer educational activities outside the state of Ohio in other SARA member states.
Regulations vary by state, from having no regulation to having very strict requirements. The services Zane State College is permitted to offer students located in another state may vary based upon location.

Professional Licensure
Out-of-state students who are seeking a professional license program through online courses at Zane State College should first contact their home state licensing agency. Ohio license requirements may not apply in those states. NC-SARA, which regulates interstate online education, does not cover license programs.
