“I would like to express my sincere congratulations to these eight individuals who have tested their mental and physical limits throughout their academic journey in the POTA program. Their efforts and sacrifices to get to graduation night have not gone unnoticed, and I am honored to celebrate every one of them. Their decision to choose a career in Law Enforcement while risking their lives to protect the American public is to be commended,” Criminal Justice and Peace Officer Academy Program Director Dr. John Gibson said.
Dr. Gibson also shared a special thank you to Academy Commander Bryan Postlethwait for his dedication to teaching and preparing this group of Peace Officers. A big note of appreciation, also, to the families and friends of the cadets for their support.
