The Cyber Analytics major integrates data analytics methodologies with cybersecurity principles to prepare students to analyze, detect, and respond to cyber threats using evidence-driven techniques. Students gain skills in data mining, statistical modeling, anomaly detection, security monitoring, and visualization of threat patterns using industry tools. Emphasizing both technical depth and analytical reasoning, the program equips graduates to support security operations centers, risk analysis teams, digital forensics efforts, and data-driven cybersecurity decision-making. This major prepares students for roles such as Cyber Data Analyst, SOC Analyst, Threat Intelligence Technician, and Security Reporting Specialist, and positions graduates for ongoing advancement in the evolving cybersecurity and data-driven security workforce.
