Ethnic Food Fair - On Friday, January 13, 2017, Zane State College presents the 25th annual Ethnic Food Fair sponsored by The Energy Cooperative. All proceeds benefit the Joyce A. Farmer Smith Memorial Scholarship.  The event features Japanese, Soul, Italian and Mexican cuisines prepared by Zane State College Culinary Arts students under the instruction of Chef Marco Adornetto. The event is being held in The Campus Center at 11 a.m. Tickets are available in the Business Office in College Hall or by calling 740.588.1321

Holiday Cooking Demonstration Workshop - Culinary Arts instructor and chef of Maria Adornetto’s Restaurant, Marco Adornetto, will demonstrate this informative and entertaining observation workshop. Participants will learn tips and tricks in preparing holiday menu choices while watching the Chef at work. Each participant receives a recipe book so they can recreate what they have learned at home. Best of all, they get to enjoy all of the creations during the demonstration. Workshop fee is $39 per person or 2/$60 and includes all materials.

Learning Outcomes:
In this workshop, you will learn about the different types of stamps, papers, inks, adhesives, and cutters available. Attendees will create 1 card.

Workshop #2: Cutting Skills

February 16, 2017
Cost: $10.00 per person, includes the cost of all materials
Learning Outcomes:
In this workshop, you will learn card descriptions, ways to cut cardstocks, use mats, and uses for scraps. Attendees will create 2 cards.

Workshop #3: Coloring Methods

Cost: $10.00 per person, includes the cost of all materials
Learning Outcomes:
In this workshop, you will learn how to use water brushes, watercolor crayons, blender pends, pastels, chalks, and pencils. Attendees will create 2 cards.

Workshop #4: Embossing

In this workshop, you will learn the difference as well as how to dry emboss and heat emboss. Attendees will create 2 cards.

IADC RigPass SafeLand USA Program - To meet basic safety regulations for a job in the oil and gas industry,
this orientation training is for you. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued a picture ID with unique bar code.
