College Credit Plus Information Night

Are you a high school student or a parent of a student? Want to learn how you can save thousands of dollars while earning college credits prior to high school graduation? Attend a College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Night at Zane State College to get all the details from CCP Advisor Sarah Meadows. Learn about the application process and cost and time saving benefits. If you/your student qualifies for the program, all tuition and textbook costs are free. You will review program expectations and are also encouraged to ask questions. We want to make sure we are all on the same page for a successful experience!

Pick a night that works best for your family’s schedule. CCP Information Nights on the Zanesville campus start at 6 p.m. Plan to be on campus for about two hours on:

  • Thursday, November 6
  • Thursday, November 16 (Pathways to Business & Engineering event)
  • Monday, December 4

Metal Art Sign-Making Workshop

Create your very own personalized piece of artwork out of metal. With the guidance of Deanna Duche', attendees will work with Torchmate software to design their metal art and then watch it be cut out on a CNC Plasma Cutter.

IADC RigPass Safeland USA Program

To meet basic safety regulations for a job in the oil and gas industry, this orientation training is for you. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued a picture ID with unique bar code.

Ohio Level Two Certification in Food Safety
Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) - 15 Hour Online Course

This course is for food managers in risk level III or risk level IV operations, supervisors that have responsibility in food preparations, and those with authority to direct and control food services in retail establishments.

Course Goals:

  • Understand foodborne illness.
  • Understand the relationship between personal hygiene, food safety and employee health in regards to transmission of foodborne illness.
  • Understand the methods for preventing the contamination of food.
  • Understand and apply the correct procedures for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Recognize problems and potential solutions associated with facility, equipment, and layout.
  • Learn to identify problems and potential solutions associated with temperature control, preventing cross-contamination, housekeeping, and maintenance.

Cost $150 (Exam included)
