Welcome to the first edition of the “Monado Messenger”. One of the biggest goals I had was to have a solid communication plan with our high schools. This is the first step in doing so, a monthly newsletter all about Zane State College, CCP, Campus Visits, Alumni News, and Next Steps for students! We are so excited to present the first edition with you! Please share with any inquiring students as well!
If there is anything you would like all local high school counselors, administrators, partners in education to know please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

On behalf of everyone here at Zane State College, we would like to welcome you back from what we hope was a wonderful summer vacation. While you have been off, we have been working diligently to bring you some amazing events this fall. We can’t wait to work with you all in helping students achieve their dreams. See you in September!
Zane State College is a 2-year accredited institution where students can earn their Associate’s Degree at a fraction of the cost. Whether they plan to continue their education or jump straight into the career force. We are here to help!
My name is Megan Jones and I am the new Recruitment Coordinator for Zane State College. I will be the one representing the institution at high schools and college fairs. I graduated from Youngstown State University in 2018 and worked as an intern in entertainment at Walt Disney World. I look forward to meeting you all and am excited to have a great school year!
This Zane State crew is counting down the days until our College Credit Plus (CCP) students are back in class!
They can answer questions such as …
– How do I apply?
– What scores do I need to qualify?
– How can I get tutoring?
– Can I still do sports/band?
– Will my credits transfer?

Zane State College Expands
Starting this fall, we will be expanding the CCP courses we offer in the Noble Local School District. These allow students to obtain 50% or more of their degree without ever leaving their high school. It is also a huge financial assistance in the fact that it allows these students to get college credit at no cost. Find more information here.
Congratulations also goes out to Morgan Local High School on becoming an official Alternative Site for Zane State College! This status will help more Morgan County students reach their higher education goals by allowing them to earn a degree in their home town!
