Hello! We are the Zane State College Student Success Team, and we can’t wait to see you at Orientation!

So, you’ve heard you should attend Orientation and it sounds exciting, right? Well, here is what you should expect.

At Orientation, you will get a complete introduction to life at Zane State College. In addition to scheduling your classes and meeting members of our faculty (the individuals who will be teaching your classes), you will also learn about the different resources we offer on campus! It is extremely important that you attend, so you can get a feel for campus and prepare for your first day of class.Β

A Few Tips Before Orientation

  1. If you have not already created a password to your Zane State account, please do so prior to Wednesday. Here is the link: https://selfservice.zanestate.edu/authorization.do. You will need your Zane State username (this was sent to you by email, for example, hmerry4).
  2. If you need your username re-sent, please email hmerry@zanestate.eduΒ
  3. If you are using Financial Aid to assist with your summer tuition, you will need to fill out your 2023-2024 FAFSA. If you are using Financial Aid to assist with your fall tuition, you will need to fill out your 2024-2025 FAFSA.Β
  4. We will have resources on campus for students to meet (Financial Aid, Scholarship office, Tutoring etc).
  5. If you have a personal laptop, you are welcome to bring it, but we will have computers for you to use!Β
