Scholarships are guaranteed to the first 15 students who enroll full-time in the Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician program at Zane State College. This program is offered at the Cambridge campus.

The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician Program prepares students to be technicians who are highly qualified to repair and maintain heavy construction equipment in the shop and in the field. Modern construction equipment is highly technical, and students will gain the technical expertise required to troubleshoot and repair these machines.

All courses include lab components, and students will receive instruction on actual construction equipment. The program provides the necessary fundamental knowledge needed and includes instruction in electronic and electrical systems, diesel engines, air conditioning and heating systems, power trains, hydraulics, and safety.
