Physical Therapist Assistant

Imagine the joy of witnessing your patient regain their mobility and independence. And while their ability to move independently is rewarding, the feeling of triumph that the patient experiences means so much. Pain-free, pure bliss. What a feeling it is.

The grit and hard work of the patients during therapy sessions require expert guidance. Physical therapists and physical therapist assistants serve as the unwavering coaches, inspiring their patients as they regain movement and manage pain.

At Zane State, our Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program empowers students with the knowledge and skills essential for a gratifying career centered on aiding others with confidence. PTA students are captivated by the intricacies of the body’s structure and its functionality. Fueled by a passion for science and medicine, they are driven to enhance the lives and well-being of others. Does this resonate with you? Are you prepared to be an integral part of making a genuine difference in the lives of others? Join us in the journey to make a lasting impact.

Please note this program is a selective health program. This means that once you are accepted to Zane State College, you will need to submit an additional, separate application for this program. The application is open annually from October 1 to April 1 for admission in the following academic year.
