Radiologic Technology

Radiologic technology student prating with the machines

Make no bones about it: Radiologic technologists are the backbone of the X-ray field, assisting physicians in finding ways to heal breaks, identify infections, and locate injuries. With solid healthcare knowledge combined with a supportive bedside manner, rad techs often are the ones who calm patients’ fears during traumatic situations while in the procedure room (so start practicing some “humerous” one-liners).

With opportunities for clinical experience in locations throughout Southeast Ohio, ZSC’s Radiologic Technologist program students experience clinicals in healthcare settings ranging from hospitals to rehabilitation centers. And let’s talk about having a leg-up on the competition. Rad Tech graduates greatly benefit from Zane State’s solid partnership with Genesis Healthcare System. This means you can start a career right after graduation and begin to fill the enormous employment gap in the radiologic field. You will help the communities we live in become healthier and happier. Now get cracking and apply today!

Please note this program is a selective health program. This means that once you are accepted to Zane State College, you will need to submit an additional, separate application for this program.
