Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy

Must be 21 years old

10 Courses/26 Credit Hours

COST: $4,690
ESTIMATED BOOKS AND SUPPLIES: $1,300 plus laptop
DURATION: 3 SEMESTERS

Course of Study: OP-C_COS_20-21

In only a year, gain the confidence and training to start a career in law enforcement and security. Work in a wide-variety of settings including prisons, jails, and courtrooms. Patrol assigned areas to enforce laws and ordinances, regulate traffic, control crowds, prevent crime, and arrest violators. Median hourly wage is $21/hour.

Upon earning your certificate, you will be qualified for these occupations:
Patrol Officer, Peace Officer, Police Officer, Public Safety Officer, State Trooper, Security Guards, Personal Protection, Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs, Civil Process Server, Bailiff, Correctional Officer, and Law Enforcement Officer
