Annual Ethnic Food Fair

Zane State College’s Annual Ethnic Food Fair 2020

Save the Date for Friday, January 17, 2020, to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at Zane State College’s 28th Annual Ethnic Food Fair.

Chef Marco Adornetto, along with his ZSC Culinary Arts students, will present British Isles, Italian, Soul, and Vietnamese cuisine.

The event, sponsored by The Energy Cooperative, begins at 11 a.m. and is hosted in The Campus Center on the Zanesville campus. Zane State College’s Culinary Arts Program students will serve the entrée dishes and desserts.

Tickets on sale starting in December (check back for details).

As a champion against social injustice, Dr. King centered his life’s work around bringing different cultures together and advancing mankind. In support of Dr. King’s movement for social change, Joyce Farmer Smith, a former employee of Zane State College and an advocate for minority students, established the Ethnic Food Fair. Part of the event proceeds will fund the Joyce A. Farmer Smith Memorial Scholarship to support the educational pursuits of Zane State College students.
