Professor Amy Wilson is the recipient of the 2022 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award!
The NISOD Award recognizes the individuals doing extraordinary work on their campuses. This weekend’s NISOD’s International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence is the definitive gathering of community and technical college educators passionate about teaching and learning. Over the years, NISOD’s annual conference has provided faculty, administrators, and staff with the resources, ideas, and solutions that drive excellence in all areas of community and technical college campuses.*
“Amy’s professionalism and “will-do” attitude make her a valuable member of our division. Her students have great respect for her. She possesses an ability to explain assignments thoroughly and provide meaningful feedback to assignments that help students improve their work and make them reflect on their beliefs and feelings more critically. Amy is a prime example of what a division chair should aspire to be. She consistently meets deadlines, mentors faculty, and makes decisions. We are blessed to have Amy in our division and College,” said Dean of Business, Engineering, and IT Marcie Moore.
Wilson embodies the Zane State vision of creating “A Promising Future for Every One” by meeting her students wherever they are in their educational journeys. Join the Zane State College campus community as we congratulate Amy Wilson on this prestigious award.
